Celebrating unions

 

This fine and very wearable silver bracelet is hinged and decorated with multiple bands of applied plaited silver wire, granulation work and applied hollow spheres.

The front is further decorated with an applied silver disk decorated with applied spheres around a central faceted piece of red glass in a raised, box setting.

The bracelet dates to the first part of the 20th century and is from the border area of Oman and Yemen.
